2 | sticks butter or margarine |
1 | cup light brown sugar |
1 | cup dark brown sugar |
2 | eggs, beaten |
1 | Tbsp. vanilla extract |
2 | cups self-rising flour |
1 | cup nuts, chopped |
Melt butter and add brown sugar, 1 cup at a time. Add beaten eggs and vanilla. Fold in flour and nuts. Do not over mix. Pour batter into a nonstick 9×13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Mixture will be thick. Optional: dust with powdered sugar. When cool, cut into 1-inch squares. Makes about 20 bar cookies.
