The recipients of this year’s L. Keith Wood Memorial Scholarships were recognized at a reception in May at the new ALTA office. They are:
- Brandon Banke, a graduate of Alpharetta High School, who will attend the University of Georgia;
- Rebekah Bobo, a graduate of Sequoyah High School, who will attend The University of Tennessee Knoxville;
- Cameron Raj, a graduate of Dunwoody High School, who will attend Georgia College; and
- Neal Seymour, a graduate of Pope High School, who will attend Kennesaw State University.
The ALTA Foundation, which oversees the scholarship fund endowed by a past ALTA president and chairman, selected the 2018 recipients from dozens of applicants.
To be considered for one of the four $5,000 awards, applicants must have played in an ALTA Juniors League or on the Junior Challenge Ladder for at least one year.
