The ALTA Foundation is excited to offer a $2,000 scholarship to 10 graduating high school seniors. This is third straight year of the scholarship program, made possible by a generous endowment gift from the estate of L. Keith Wood.
Wood served as ALTA president in 2009 and chairman of the board in 2012.
To qualify, seniors need to have played ALTA, be a Georgia resident and have plans to attend college in the Fall.
ALTA Foundation President, Linda Shepherd, is encouraging all graduating seniors to apply. “We want to hear from our young applicants as to how tennis and ALTA have made an impact on their lives. We want to hear their exciting stories about their experiences,” she says.
The deadline to enter is April 1, 2019. Winners will be announced on May 1, 2019. Please visit the altatennis.org website for more information on how to submit an application.
